The terms of admission would subsequently include other stipulations. Residents were expected to pay a thirty dollar entrance fee and provide their own furniture and bedding (if they did not bring their own furniture a fifty dollar fee was to be paid upon admission). In addition, the terms state that only women sixty years or older could be considered for admission.
