- Letter dated August 7, 1679 (July 28, 1679 Old Style) from Phineas Pemberton to his father, Ralph Pemberton. Its contents include the death of Robert Lowe and the travel of John [...] to attend his funeral. Phineas tells his father he has lent Jon a horse to attend, and that this should delay Ralph's planned trip to Aspull. Additionally, Phineas mentions a bout of illness, causing her to be "forced to serve the customers her self today."
